Great grinder if you don't use dark flavored coffee.
Positive Product Points
Very quiet, consistent grind, heavy, easy to clean. For regular, unflavored coffee, it's great.
Negative Product Points
Will NOT grind dark, oily beans for more than 8-10 seconds.
Detailed Commentary
Because it's heavy, it doesn't "walk" on the counter like many models/brands. Also, the grind is very consistent on the coffees that will grind. I'd like to have a larger bean hopper, but that isn't a major issue. The ground coffee bin has vibrated out a couple of times (causing a mess), but that could have been my fault. The first time I used it, the timer button fell off, so I pushed it in firmly, and that hasn't recurred.
My biggest issue with this product - which will likely result in a return to the store - is that it won't grind my favorite coffee: French roast vanilla, a dark roasted, oily bean. I followed the instructions to reset the burr speed to the slowest speed, and it still won't grind longer than 8-10 seconds. This means I have to clean the burrs 4-5 times to get a full pot of coffee. They're easy to clean, but what a hassle to get coffee!
