Bottom Line: Not a good grinder for home roasted, oily beans.
Positive Product Points

Seems like a nice grinder, if only it would grind freshly roasted beans.

Negative Product Points

tried grinding freshly roasted beans but whether it was the oil on the beans or something else, they would  not go through. ended up returning it, disappointed.

Detailed Commentary

I tried several times to grind fresh roasted beans with cleaning the unit entirely between attempts. Each time, it would start to grind and then clog up somehow with beans not getting through. I tried different grind settings and tapping the hopper to get the beans in past the little cap inside the hopper. After about six attempts I still couldn't tell why the beans weren't getting through and had to assume that they were just too sticky for this unit. I was able to return it without problem but am disappointed that it wouldn't work. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Buying Experience

No problem with Home Outfitter. Bought the unit in the store.
