Considering the lack of information I had, not a bad purchase.
Positive Product Points
Good grinder for the price. Easy to use. Fairly good at course grinds.
Negative Product Points
Not so good at find grinds; tends to powderize the beans. Fairly messy and difficult to clean. Needs a power-off button.
Detailed Commentary
If you're making the move into burr grinders, and you don't want to spend a lot, this isn't a bad way to go, particularly if you primarily make traditional coffee (e.g. not espresso). I don't think you'd want to use for anything more than rather low end espresso machines. It does a decent job for drip coffee makers and press pots. Getting the grounds from the container where they are deposited to the coffee maker can be a bit messy, but that's true of any grinder that doesn't include a doser. The entire machine can be difficult to clean as well. It doesn't have a power-off switch; it turns off when the timer runs out.
