A durable, inexpensive choice for a blade grinder.
Positive Product Points
This blade grinder does a respectable job of grinding coffee for drip usage. Also, it is very easy to clean and conveniently small.
Negative Product Points
Grinds tend to collect under the blade and pack down. The unit must be shaken or pulsated to prevent packing. As with most blade grinders, it is difficult to get an exact grind repeatedly.
Detailed Commentary
As far as a blade grinder goes, this one does a good job. It seems to be durable for the price paid, and it is easy to use. Cleanup is a breeze, so it is very easy to change from one coffee blend to another without any residue left over. It seems to be more consistant with the grind quality when using decaf and lighter roasts. When using beans with any showing oil it seems to take longer and be more prone to the grinds packing under the blade.
For the $20, it has been a fine purchase for a blade grinder.
