Positive Product Points

Looks good, works well for drip coffee. Timer is very useful.

Negative Product Points

Horrible grind quality when grinding fine for espresso. It can't even grind fine enough to stop water from gushing through the pf, even after I modified the upper burr to be .5mm lower.

Detailed Commentary

If you will be making drip coffee, this is a great grinder and will look great in your kitchen. But if it's for espresso, don't even think about it. No where near the grind quality or fineness needed. I tried putting layers of tape between the plastic burr carrier and the upper burr, helped a little bit, but not worth the effort, still can't get fine enough of a grind. I'm going to try and return it , going to need all of the money I can get if I'm going to buy a real grinder to replace it. But if you don't need it for espresso, the little plastic box is very nice. make for easy pouring of grinds into your drip filter. very little mess.

Buying Experience

Williams Sonoma only had this grinder in, thought it would be a big step up from my previous "toy" grinder. i was wrong. they offer some nice machines, but nothing else, no tampers, no grinders, no nothing.
