I bought this to "upgrade/replace" my 10 year old Braun burr grinder hoping for evener grind with less powder. From the first grind I was dissapointed. Lots of powder, uneven grind, catch bin a pain in the rear. Grind quality about the same as my 10 year old worn out Braun! Wife hated it too. After one week useage I bit the bullet and decided to fork out the bucks and ordered the Solis Mulino 177. If you really can't afford the $130 or so for the current Solis Maestro, which in my opinion is a fantastic overall home grinder, save up your money. Keep using what you are now using or buy a cheap blade chopper until you can afford a GOOD burr grinder. Don't buy this junk!
