Works fine in a commercial and home environment, but a bit plasticky, worth the money.
Positive Product Points
Commercial grinder - fast - not too noisy - good burrs
Negative Product Points
plastic doser and overall plastic feel
Detailed Commentary
If you can get one for less than retail £300 ($450) for my model, they are worth it. Very fast (but not so fast they burn the coffee) I paid less than trade (can't say here). I now use it commercially in an espresso trailer, producing up to 500 doses a day with no problems so far.
The doser is cheaper looking in construction than some lesser grinders I've owned, but works fine, and is adjustable. 1kg hopper is big for home use, but could be adapted. Mine has an unusual doser - no prongs, but a round thing that fits the portafilter (commercial size) so that grounds aren't spilt.
