Detailed Commentary
Keep in mind, this Colombia is an older model! So I got the Colombia from a coffee house that wasn't ever using it and they sold it to me for a song. After making sure the burrs were in good condition (they were) I put it to use. My coffee improved dramatically.
The consistency in the finer grind settings is great. However, I'm less than thrilled in the grind settings as they move up beyond a regular drip grind. I like to make press pot coffee occasionally but the course grind settings are pretty inconsistent. You could almost do as good with a cheapo burr grinder from your local mega-store. Having said that, I mostly drink espresso so this grinder still works great for me.
As for build, this thing is a monster! It's built like a tank with high quality, looks like a tank - read: ugly - and sounds like a tank too. I keep mine in my garage as it's pretty messy with the grinds. It's not sealed well so the fine grinds have a way of making their way out of the doser housing. Remember: mine is an older model than the picture they have on the site.
