It seems to grind the beans okay.
The motor was smooth and quiet but it started smoking in less than a week, so I will be returning it. Perhaps a louder motor is stronger!

The cup size dial on it is confusing as it seems to have no relation as to how many beans to put in it. You still need to measure out how much coffee you will use for your coffee pot.
Don't waste your money! Buy a different one!
