Detailed Commentary
The Gaggia MM is vastly better than the whirly blade I have been using for months. It certainly is consistant in its grind. Unfortunately, I don't feel this is a great grinder for press pot brewing. Since that is my primary method of making coffee, this grinder disappoints me.
I like how it looks and appreciated the small footprint. I did not like the oddly shaped receptacle that holds the ground coffee. Also, like many others have said, it's messy and the bin has tons of static cling.
I really wanted this grinder to work well for me. I am ready to step up to a better grinder and the price for the MM was perfect. I am going to have to deal with the blade grinder until I can buy a higher end grinder.
