A very cheap grinder that you will have to upgrade rather soon. Put in some extra money and buy a propper grinder.
Positive Product Points
Cheap, I didnt want to spent too much since I had just bought my Gaggia classic.
Negative Product Points
Grinds unevenly. There are problems with static electricity. Noisy, the hopper seems to work as a resonance box for noise.
Detailed Commentary
I bought the Gaggia MM only a few weeks after I bought my Classic, and I didnt want to spend too much on a grinder. The first thing I noticed was how noisy it is. I had been buying pregrinded coffe from the coffeshop before, and they offcourse had a professional grinder that was quiet. The noise can be reduced by holding a towel ontopp of the hopper. The next thing I noticed was when I opened the box where the grinded coffee ends up and there were coffe all over due to the static electricity. This is easy to handle by bashing the box a few times and wait a while. During the use of the grinder my knowledge and skills in espresso increased and I realised that this grinder is not that good.
