Positive Product Points

Well made. Excellent Customer Service by phone.
Replacement burr grinder parts are inexpensive & easy to change out.
I love the LOOK (appearance) of this grinder! Mine is Metallic Pearl finish (going well with a kitchen with lots of Stainless Steel items).
5-Year Total Replacement Limited Warranty

Negative Product Points

Have broken the glass collection part.
Fine grinds come out in the gap between the grinder & collection jar.

Detailed Commentary

I've gone through several grinders. This one has massive burr grinding gears that go slower, not 'cooking' the coffee as it is ground. I love the look & ease of use of my KitchenAid ProLine Grinder. An idiot visiting friend goofed up the dial/grind setting, so I had to call ProLine Customer Service https://proline.kitchenaid.com/customer-care.aspx 800.832.7173. They were EXCELLENT. In an early morning fog, I dropped the glass collection thing and it broke. They replaced it free of charge.

I was put off by the MSRP/price of the thing. BUT, AMEX gave me an offer using the REWARDS POINTS I'd built up with my American Express Card. So, I got it sort of for FREE. Once I have it, I'd buy another and I'd be inclined to get other KitchenAid ProLine counter top appliances.

Buying Experience

I used AMEX REWARD points to get it FREE.
