Detailed Commentary
I had one for 15 years, and I burnt its motor (my fault). I expect this replacement to last forever.
Espresso fanatics will tell you that the lack of uniformity in its grind and the excessive heat make this grinder unsuitable for espresso. They are probably right (though I suspect that in a blindfold test many would not be able to tell the difference).
Still, it will serve well as a temporary solution, and you can't beat the price. If you pack it full, and grind long enough (20-30 seconds), the grind will be fine enough for espresso (nice crema). Indeed, much better than cheap burr grinders such as Melitta, Braun or DeLonghi (see my other reviews). But don't pack it too full, or you'll burn the motor (as I did).
Another advantage is that it will grind things other than coffee beans, such as spices.
