Detailed Commentary
I purchased and returned burr grinder the next day. When I dropped the beans into the hopper I found that a couple of times the beans would not feed consistently. They would get stuck or hung up in the feed to the grinders. I had to prod them to get them going again. I found that although the grinder as many settings, there was little difference between fine and course. The fine grind is not fine enough for espresso. The medium setting was probably too fine for my taste and the course grind setting was little different from the medium setting. There are way too many safety features on this product. There are safety switches on both the bean hopper cover and the container for your ground coffee. The safety switch for the ground coffee container relies on the lid being in place and intact. Both the container and lid are clear plastic and the lid is fairly flimsy. If you lose or break the lid for the ground coffee container, you will not be able to grind coffee. Overall, although the price seemed reasonable, I was very disappointed with product as it was functionally inferior to others.
