This grinder looks great. I love the blue LED and the finishes used. There are only a few controls, one for grind, one for amount, and one for power, so ease of use is guaranteed.
Negative Product Points
This grinder will not grind fine enough for espresso. I have fiddled with it extensively and cannot get a grind that will produce anything but watery espresso with little or no crema. Beans will often get stuck and not feed into the grinder, even when the hopper is not empty. Internal assembly comes loose easily.
Detailed Commentary
I received this grinder as a gift. I had been wanting a burr grinder, having just received a Saeco Classico, and this was given to me for Christmas. I have tried making a grind fine enough for espresso with this grinder but I have not been able to. When making coffee for drip machines or other grinds, this grinder works very well, although it is quite loud. I wouldn't recommend this grinder to anyone who is mainly going to use it for espresso, but if you're a drip coffee or a french press coffee fan, I would say this is a very good grinder for the price point. The grind catcher builds up a lot of electrostatic charge during grinding and consequently this grinder can be a little messy.
