Detailed Commentary
This is not the third bean grinder I have owned and (sad to say) is the best I have had
I moved from a blade grinder to a cheap(er) burr grinder from Russel Hobbs (not sure of the model number)
I use to struggle to get a fine grind out of my previous grinders and was always left unsatisfied.
The Krups GVX grinder does not cost much more than my previous grinder and gives far better performance. If you double grind the beans, it will give you an even grind that is fine enough to make a pretty good espresso.
As I am consistently moving on to bigger and better things, I would not buy this machine again but I have been thoroughly impressed with it for the 3 months that I have. I am holding thumbs that it will not fail in the near future.
