Don't even think about using this to grind coffee as well as espresso. Going from an espresso grind to a coffee grind would take, oh, about forever.
Detailed Commentary
Unlike t-shirts, which come in S, M, L and XL, if La Cimbali made clothing, there would be about 250 sizes between S and M. This machine lets you really dial in the perfect grind for a particular espresso. Solid as a rock, I expect never to need to buy another espresso grinder. If you need a machine that will grind espresso beans for your shots and then grind coffee beans for your Mr. Coffee, this is NOT the right choice for you. The LaCimbali Jr. is really a single-purpose machine, that purpose being to allow you to fine-tune your espresso grinds. To this end, they have achieved perfection.
