Cheap grinder makes great grounds, if you are willing to spend a lot of effort cleaning it, and if you don't mind static.
Positive Product Points
Looks fine, holds a lot of grinds, grinds fast. Very consistent grind.
Negative Product Points
Major static problem, impossible to thoroughly clean, noisy (though no more so than any other electric grinder), big.
Detailed Commentary
I thought this grinder was going to be perfect ... until I noticed the static problem. What a mess trying to get the grounds out of the holder! And it really makes a difference when you are only grinding enough for a 3-cup French press. Then after I had used it, I tried to clean it. The upper burr snaps out just fine, but it is so hard to get all the grounds out of the area where the bottom burr is, and grounds get gunked up in the opening out of which they shoot into the ground holder. A toothbrush would not begin to do the trick.
The quality of the grounds is great, the doser is great. But you are going to get some stale coffee taste unless you run rice through it often. I suppose you get what you pay for.
