Looks great and seems very solid. Super quiet. Fits under kitchen cabinet. Very consistent grinds.
Negative Product Points
Hard to clean doser. Clear bean hopper. Power cord comes out of side.
Detailed Commentary
I decided to upgrade my espresso making at home. After much reading on here I figured that the grinder was the best place to start. Actually I started with an I-Roast2, but that’s another review. My old grinder was a DeLonghi Retro DCG59 Electric Burr Grinder and other than being noisy seemed fine to me. Now I know what a grinder should be. The Mazzer Mini is a treat to use and really makes the money it cost seem irrelevant after using it for a month now. I have played a bit with the grind settings and have two spots I use regularly. One for espresso and the other for my drip coffee. My espresso improved on the 1st pull. I have a Breville café roma espresso machine that I will upgrade soon, but for now it works. My espresso has more body and flavor than ever. The best crema I could get was very blond and not too thick. Now I pull a marbled crema of blonds and darker that is very thick and long lasting. The grinder is super quiet so I can use while the wife is sleeping (worth the price right there). I have the low profile hopper and it fits under my kitchen cabinet just fine with room to add beans without moving the Mini. I am very happy with this purchase so far and would recommend the Mazzer Mini to anyone
Buying Experience
I bought online from the greenbeanery.ca and had no complaints. The grinder was packaged well and arrived in a week undamaged.
