Positive Product Points
Very very consistent grind. Stepless adjustment makes for the optimum grind for all beans. In a retail situation, it is perfect. As we are doing demo's for the Silvia and the Vibiemme Domobar on a regular basis, the Mini is a machine! We love it here.
Negative Product Points
The catch tray becomes loose if removed often when cleaning. The protective plate on top of the doser can be an inconvenience in trying to check the grind as its coming out. Lack of diverse colour is frustrating - we only have the gloss silver available in New Zealand.
Detailed Commentary
Used everyday for just on a year and it hasn't stopped or had any problems yet! Great for quick adjustment between beans here in the shop. As we are a retailer for coffee stuff, we are always doing testers for our beans and demo's on our retail machines.
Although we haven't needed to clean it yet, I don't know how. But yeah the oils in the hopper could be a frustrating thing to sort out when it comes to it. I have had a servicer look at the burrs and everything is still honky dory, so yeah.
Magical machine!!
Nothing performance wise that is a detrement for me.
