The home user won't test the capabilities of the SJ and that’s a good thing.

Detailed Commentary
Even those new to coffeegeek should recognize the name Mazzer. It’s a name synonymous with quality durability and quality grinding. The Mazzer Super Jolly is no exception to this perception and will serve the true home coffee hobbyist well for a lifetime. Lets look at the Super Jolly in the rating categories:
Quality of Product: 10
Mazzer is quality. They have been the standard for a long time and after using the SJ I can see why. Its all about grind quality and build quality. For home use the SJ is really overkill considering its designed and built for a busy commercial coffee bar. The home user won't test the capabilities of the SJ and that’s a good thing. This will be last grinder you will ever have to buy.
Usability: 8
The SJ is really easy to use. But the doser just doesn't sweep very clean but we can't blame Mazzer for this, remember their grinders are designed for commercial use where the doser would be filled then coffee dispensed. Sweeping clean is irrelevant in this instance. The easy fix is to apply the tape mod linked above. I used temporary adhesive Velcro strips (for hanging pictures on walls and what not) and they work great. Incorporate a modification like this and my rating here goes to a 9 or better.
Dialing in the grind is very easy too. Grab the handle and turn the large dial. The timer dial works well for activating the motor for grinding so no problems there. The hopper (on mine at least) lifts off for cleaning if need be. All in the SJ is easy to use on a daily basis will little fuss from me.
Cost vs. Value: 10
If you can score one of these off ebay then clean it up/paint it then the cost vs. value is easily 10 plus. New these grinders are extremely expensive and I'm unsure they are worth it but this is based on the availability of these used and not the quality of the grinder.
Aesthetics: 8
The SJ looks nice but it is huge. Forget using a hopper under almost any cabinet. The SJ being so large will hold enough beans in the throat above the burrs for a few doubles so the hopper isn't a must use. I love the look of the grinder, but be warned it’s huge!
Overall: 9
I absolutely love this grinder. It blows away the Solis Maestro Plus and simply outshines the Rocky. The grind is amazing making for exceptional espresso. It’s stepless so adjusting for just the right grind is a snap. All the features and general build of this grinder is superb. This is a world-class grinder. It's a joy to use everyday and will be the rest of my life. Yes it’s that much of a grinder!
Buying Experience
Bought of ebay. All went well. With used machines they will require a good cleaning and perhaps some new burrs. After that the SJ will be as good as the day it was built. I put a fresh coat of paint on mine and she looks beautiful (just like new). Go used and this is the best bang for the buck out there!
Three Month Followup
Simply amazing grind quality. This grinder is truly a joy to use each day. One of the best investments I've ever made.
