Positive Product Points

Quiet, solid with electronic doserless timed delivery

Negative Product Points

The hopper "must" be attached with a machine screw. In order to fit the screw, the hopper had to be pounded into place repeatedly (to make the hole in the hopper line up with the screw). I don't think it will be easy to remove when cleaning time comes. Comes with a printed warning "Not for home use - professional use only". Has continental (two pin round) plug. 230V

Detailed Commentary

An excellent grinder and I specifically wanted one without a doser since I make only a few drinks at a time. The maximum single doser timing (adjusted with a screwdriver potentiometer) was a bit short for my "regular" E61 Expobar portafilters, so I have adjusted the single dose to be one-half a "full" dose and just hit the button twice. I adjusted the double dose to the "triple" portafilters I use in bottomless holders. I guess I am saying the timings could go longer, but as this is a pro machine, I suppose the emphasis is on saving coffee.

When the humidity is low, static can make some of the grounds miss the portafilter and this creates the inevitable mess.  I think the portafilter holder could be closer to the doser - I may try and rig a "nozzle".

Buying Experience

Great supplier - highly recommended. Shipping from Netherlands to UK took only two days

Three Month Followup

Still working perfectly. Comments as previous. Rock solid - does what it says on the can.

One Year Followup

Bulletproof. Switched to the short hopper. Excellent product. It is a bit odd that the time adjustment is a tiny screw when it's almost as important as the grind adjustment. But I suppose that stems from its commercial purpose - where one type of coffee would be used exclusively - whereas I am constantly trying a new bean/roast/blend.
