Perfect grind with no static.  Heavy grinder that is very quiet during the grinding process.  The stainless steel model is a perfect marriage with my Ms. Silvia.  Fair price for an excellent product.

The doser has a tendency to dose the grinds to the left.

I did my research on this purchase for about two months with many calls to WholeLatteLove, and reading reviews on this web site, and decided on the stainless Rocky, and I am glad I did.  After using a Braun Burr grinder for several years, it was a delight to finally own a top-notch grinder that would definetly feel at home in any espresso cafe.  It was recommended that I start dialing it in at number 5.  This setting seemed too fine and I have finally settled on number six getting me consistant 25 second pulls everytime.  The lids to the hopper and doser could be a little tighter, but because I only grind enough for one double, it is really of no consequence to me.  It would be nice if the portafilter fork was stainless steel and not plastic, but it is quite solid.  

Overall, I think I made the right purchase from the right retailer and I am most pleased with the Rocky.  I would recommend it to anyone looking for a grinder that will do the job and do it well.
