I‘f your poor, a $20 burr grinder is a good way to go. It won‘t work for espresso but if you want fresh grind for a drip then it‘s fine. French press is sketchy. When I first got the grinder it worked great for the press but as time went on it got worse..maybe burrs dulled or I just did a bad job of keeping it really clean.
