Positive Product Points
This unit was spot on for espresso coffees and worked well at the french-press end of the spectrum.
Negative Product Points
The timer died after a few hours of use. Fortunately, the Braun KMM30 has the identical timer assembly.
Detailed Commentary
The Mulino looked good and made sense at the time. It has fairly solid construction for the price and produced a consistent grind time after time. The anti-static option seemed to work OK in my moderately humid environment. It was not the most ideal design for loading up an espresso portafilter. In this way, the Solis Maestro was a big improvement. Conical Burrs and gear reduction go a long way to making a precise grinding experience time after time. Perhaps this unit is better suited to drip brewer use, keeping in mind the overall design.
