Detailed Commentary
This is a great grinder for home use at an affordable price and is a space saver, leaves more room on the counter for bigger espresso machines. I found grinding directly into the portafilter or doser spoon left a mess in the bottom of the grinder which was difficult to clean. I cut a small half moon shaped hole in the upper front of the plastic bin with the flat edge on the top. I then filed a very slight crown on it. When I grind directly into the doser any stray grounds end up in the bin. After a couple of taps of the doser spoon on the bottom of the hole I then pull It out dragging the top across the top edge of the hole. This makes a very consitent volume of grounds and makes it very easy to adjust the grind to weight ratio of the dose. I find this grinder with the method I use to be very quick and accurate to adjust for different beans. The bin is very awkward to grasp to pull out. However I only do this once at the end of each day to clean.
