Detailed Commentary

I'm talking about the Dualit (UK) espresso version of this grinder.

I tried this grinder with my FF!X1 after using pre-ground stuff and noticed a whole world of difference! This pair make such good coffee every time - excellent thick crema, Guinness effect, tiger stripes, great taste every time. I first tried the grinder on the 2nd finest setting and the shot took a bit too long. 3rd finest is perfect for the X1. The timer takes a bit of getting used to - but I'm now finding it a really good way to measure how much coffee I need to grind without a doser. The grounds container isn't the right shape for a round scoop but you can always tip the grounds into the portafilter.  I  haven't tried coarser settings but this grinder IS more than capable of doing AMAZING ESPRESSO without modifying it - at the price, it's a steal.

Buying Experience

Ordered from Amazon, free delivery. It arrived on the second attempted delivery from Home Delivery Network (the first time they tried was 6:20pm).
