Detailed Commentary
I understand that the Solis 166 is no longer available in the US. No big issue as the the improved Solis Maestro has taken over. Unfortunately here in Australia the Maestro is not available and cannot be imported direct from the US due to different AC voltage. I have been told that it will be here in a couple of months but as almost twice the price. So, its' important to know that the Solis 166 grinder is still being sold but under different badge names. In the US its sold as the Starbucks Barista, in the UK under the Dualit badge and here in Australia under the Delonghi brandname. For us folks down under you can save $50.00 buying the 'Delonghi' grinder as to one with the Solis label. A significant saving for exactly the same grinder. This I was not aware of until a bit of investigative research.
