Positive Product Points

Compared to the Bodum Antigua, that I had, it is QUIET! It has a small footprint on the counter top too. It LOOKS GOOD!

Negative Product Points

None known. Well, one...but its almost not worth mentioning. The Bodum had little icons at the "normal" grinding settings for whatever you wanted the machine to do. The Solis has markings only. You have to experiment a few times to find the setting that suits your taste. No big deal.

Detailed Commentary

I see other people say that it is noisy, and others "make sure it grinds fine for your machine"...I dont see either of these comments being a reality. It is reasonably quiet. For Gods sake...its GRINDING BEANS!!! It certainly grinds "fine"...in fact, the finest setting is too fine a grind. It aint cheap...$125 from wholelattelove, but I think its worth it.
