If you don‘t want to splash the cash for a Rocky, the Solis 177 will do the job just fine.

At $125 the Solis 177 is a great value for money. After trying without much luck for a few weeks to make espresso with my new Silvia, I broke down and bought the Solis on advice from David Schomer‘s column at lucidcaffe . I was a bit worried it wouldn‘t grind quite fine enough (since the Rocky seems to be the grinder of choice around here) but no worries. The Solis choked the Silvia on the two lowest settings. Happy days are here.
