More than adequate for weekend grinder but don't expect to leave it to your kids.
Positive Product Points
Consistent grind. Best for drip and french press. Noise level is moderate, grinding speed adequate, hopper size adequate. Altogether an adequate grinder if it only lasted for more than a year.
Negative Product Points
Adequate grinder but not heavy duty so don't expect a long life if a frequent user. Best for the weekend grinder. Espresso setting leaves something to be desired.
Detailed Commentary
I grind daily, sometimes 3 times a day so I'm probably pretty somewhat hard on my grinders. Have owned two of these - both gave up the ghost within a year. Did a good, consistent job while they lasted but first one died suddenly and second one no longer feeds beans into burrs without coaxing, both within first year of ownership. Not really expensive but $150 every six months to a year is nothing to scoff at. Best for the weekend grinder. Espresso setting leaves something to be desired. Just ordered a Bunn BG so I'm anxious to compare.
Buying Experience
Local Starbucks - around $150 - subject to availability.
