High-quality; cheaper than many electrics, will outlast any electric. Don‘t overlook just because it‘s a manual! The "work" involved is overstated.
Positive Product Points
Simple, well-built, will last a long time (longer than an electric grinder). Grinding your coffee by hand adds to the morning coffee ritual.
Negative Product Points
Hopper is a little small. Grinder setting has no marked settings for different grinds, as on commercial machines (not an issue if you consistently use the same grind as I do). Ground coffee sometimes misses the box, so you must pour the ground coffee from the box, and then a small bit from the grinder.
Detailed Commentary
A great product. The same price as or cheaper than an electric grinder, and will last longer. I paid $54.95 plus shipping; I couldn‘t find a comparably priced electric grinder that matched the quality of the Zassenhaus.
