Positive Product Points

Built solid.  Easy to clean up.  Well thought out, comes with everything you need.

Negative Product Points

Looks weird carrying it through the office.  But oh well, such is my quest.

Detailed Commentary

I have been on a quest lately for a great cup of coffee.  Since I decided that my Capresso MT500 was scorching the coffee, it was time for something new.  I have switched in the morning to a Melitta Manual drip brew.  The coffee has been great.  I need something during the day at my office though.  Right now our coffee is horrendous.  One reason is the coffee itself, we do not buy premium coffee.  Second, we have a horrible brewing system.  Add it together and I either have to go to the coffee shop during the day or just plain suffer.  I had a french press here but it was too much hassle.  So I ordered the AeroPress.  This thing is amazing.  I used the ground coffee that we have on hand and made my first cup.  What I made with the AeroPress far outshines the usual.  This thing makes a great tasting, rich cup of coffee with minimal effort even using second rate coffee.

Final verdict, it is built well, it has all of teh pieces that I need, it is easy to use and, despite looking like a fool walking down the hallway, I love being able to make a great cup at work.

This is money WELL spent.

Buying Experience

Easy.  2day shipping was only $.76 more and it shipped in a day.

Three Month Followup

Still love it.  It makes great coffee, has been durable and I have found that because of the filter mechanism, you can shoot out a "puck" of grounds and it makes the rest of the clean up easy.

I still look crazy walking down the hall in my law firm with the AeroPress in my hand though:)
