love it to bits if you see one nail it while you can, they dont'make em like this any more!
Positive Product Points
What a wee gem, i have been searching for the right example and found this one on www.trademe.co.nz I bought it becaue it is an artistic statement about coffee, asides from its adequate coffeemaking capacity, its a beautiful sculpture that take spride of place in my kitchen. The steam tah it generates is phenominal for such a small machine, and i can texture milk as finely on my 3 group commercial San Marco which i use in my cafe. Not many "home use"machine you can say that about..
Negative Product Points
The only draw back i would say about this georgeous piece is that it does tend to leave something to be desired in the extraction department, and the resulting coffee is more akin to stove top espresso (well thats what it is really) and tends to be a little cooked tasting, not TRUE espresso but close enough for this little black duck.
Detailed Commentary
Upon acquiring my Brevetti Robiatti espresso machine (aka -atomic espresso & cappucino maker) i had all the seals replaced, i got the parts from Bon Trading in Sydney (thank you very much for still suplying the back up for the atomic!) and it improved a million fold, i would also recommend getting a half sized basket with smaller filter holes, to improve the extraction quality, no point drinking cooked coffee unless your into arabic coffee. I highly recommend it as a piece of art, and a brilliant way to preare your espresso based beverages, enjoy the ritual of preparing your drik with this marvel of Italian design.
