The artistic beauty of the Atomic shape and the taste of the coffee produced are the features that stand out
Positive Product Points
The full-bodied taste of the coffee produced, the aromas generated when making and the beauty of the machine are the features that stand out. It also has the capacity to make enough for several people. The simplicity of being stove-top and not requiring electricity is also a plus. There is also not much that can go wrong requiring a technician.
Negative Product Points
It does take time to become familiar with the function of the Atomic and become a master at frothing milk. You also have to be careful of the hot surfaces generated. Like a pot on the stove the Atomic will get hot.
Detailed Commentary
With so many kitchen appliances these days this Atomic is one of the few items that doesn't get put away. Having recently moved and purchased a wall in-built coffee maker of the push-button variety we were not completely satisfied with the taste of the coffee produced. Wanting to be able to make good coffee at home we were determined to find something better. Then we saw an advertisement for the Atomic. Over time our interest grew and finally we decided. After some experimentation with the Atomic our barista skills are now good. If you are willing to invest a little time in your coffee making each day the Atomic is worth it.
Buying Experience
The staff at Bon Trading in Woollahra, Sydney, where we bought the Atomic, were pleased to demonstrate the features. There is also a story about the Atomic to be told. It will also retain its value as a collectors item.
