Bottom Line: A trouble-free easy to operate machine that makes coffee-making relaxing, not puttsy!
Positive Product Points

Consistent, frothy coffee if use secrets below. Easy to use and clean. Hands free operation can't be beat!

Negative Product Points

I've worn out 2 coffee baskets and 1 pressure stem, and got replacements thru the Bialetti website. The parts are a bit pricier now, so I'm looking for a complete new Mukka on ebay. My Mukka looks a bit beat up from use, but, hey, as long as it makes this great coffee, I'm fine with it.

Detailed Commentary

I'm not a connoisseur, but I've found a couple things that make using the Mukka a more enjoyable and consistent experience: (1) Use regular drip grind for the coffee as the espresso grind seems too fine, and (2) Warm the milk or half and half for 30 seconds in a microwave before pouring into the Mukka; this seems to solve both the "cold" and "not frothing well" problems that some had. I also rinse the pressure stem each time I use it and make sure it's clear like someone mentioned. Every so often I do remove the gasket and clean the screen, but that's less problematic with the use of regular drip grind coffee. Yum!

Buying Experience

I got it as a gift because I was waffling about the price. What a wonderful gift from my sister!
