For a long time, Bodum was the only voice in the wilderness, making a glass vacuum coffee maker when everyone else seemed to disapear.

Bottom Line: Great coffee, fun to watch brewing, inexpensive, glass construction was easy to clean - but found the glass funnel easily breakable.

Bottom Line: Bodum has a well known and establish liine of products. their vaccum pot is easy to assemble, to use and to clean. it's a good deal for the money.
