Detailed Commentary

I purchased this brewer online through Kitchensetc.com.  For the first three months the unit worked great, then the heating element burned out.  I sent it in for service and was sent a new upper unit (the pot with heating element).  That fix lasted 6 months, then it conked out.  I sent the entire unit (base,  pot, and upper coffee holder) in for service.  A month later I was sent an entire new unit in blue instead of clear.   That one lasted 4 month  before burning out.  I raised Cain wiht the folks at Bodum Service regarding this product.  They basically said "tough cookies, warranty is up, now you have to pay for repairs.

When it worked it made good coffee.   Otherwise it is a consumer nightmare if anything goes wrong.

Buying Experience

The folks at kitchensetc.com (actually their predecessor) were very helpful.
