Bottom Line: Great buy, two years old going strong, fun to watch... stil.
Positive Product Points

It is easy to use, brews great bean and cleans up really easy.  I have brewed so much bean with this machine i cannot believe that it is still up and running.

Negative Product Points

If you position it wrong it can boil over or not shut off creating a sloppy mess.  Normally caused by human error at 5 in the morning.   Caution with kids, they love watching but they should be supervised.

Detailed Commentary

I saw a couple really low scores and i thought wow that was unfair.  I like this machine a lot, it is so easy to use you a kid can do it.  And that can be a problem, i would not want a young child making coffee on it because it can boil over if not placed just right or not shut off.  It has happened to me two may be three times, but that is in two years and countless pots.
I am cautious about children and anything hot, but it is my job to supervise not Bodum.  It would be same as me complaining to Kraft about that hot flaming marshmallow that caught a kid in the face at the camp fire when they randomly turned around.  Its cool to watch and people are drawn to it, but it is naturally top heavy and everything is hot.
I can have just about any coffee I want and on any brewer out there but I still choose this over others. No filters, brews really fast, good reliable bean that keeps me coming back. I love it..

Buying Experience

Price may be a little high, for the simplicity.
