Fun to watch. Reasonably priced from Appliance.com. Makes a pretty decent cup of coffee if you use more coffee than they recommend. The 24 oz. capacity is perfect for one person.
Negative Product Points
Filter has to be replaced monthly and the shipping alone on a five dollar filter monthly will be prohibitive. The brew time is too short to make a GREAT cup of coffee.
Detailed Commentary
It's cheap looking, It's hard to clean, it requires new hard to find plastic filters monthly and it brews too quickly thus making weak coffee. How hard would it have been to make a really nice filter that didn't need to be replaced? How hard would it have been to make the brewing time feasible for excellent coffee...Everything about this coffee brewer JUST MISSES.
When I contacted Bodum about the difficulty of finding their filters their reply was "It's not our fault that local stores don't carry them..we can't force them. Buy them online from our store....." So shipping is going to cost as much as the filter....

I put this up in the kitchen cupboard because it's not good to look at and it sure as hell can't make coffee. It was hard to clean and just not at all worth it
