I seem to use more coffee to create as many cups. Requires extensive cleaning. Unable to make less than 6cups of coffee.
Detailed Commentary
I believe that this makes the best coffee I have ever made. It does use about 50% more coffee to make smaller batches than typical drip coffee makers. It does also require a rather coarse grind of coffee. I have to use an old hand grinder to get the proper grind. I found that the typical blade grinder resulted in too much sedimentation in the coffee. I typically make 6 or 8 cups of coffee. There is no way to make 4cups even though the pot has a been labled that way. I have recently found that Bodum has made a smaller version of the pot. I have not used it but frankly it would still require as much cleaning.
