Positive Product Points
Easy to use. Good Looking. Good Quality. For the Young Press only: durable, "thermos-like" effect.

For the Young Press only: you barely see the coffee at the top of the glass pot.
Detailed Commentary
For those of you who are thinking of buying a Bodum French Press and are consedring the Young Press, here is some advices:
The protective frame is great for many different reasons: mainly, it insulates your Bodum glass pot and creates a "thermos-like" effect. It's great when you want to keep your coffee hot for a longer period (without using something else). The protective frame is also very good for durability. Now, you can travel with your press everywhere (it's wonderful for camping). The filter is the same as other Bodum press (i.e. great).
The negative side of the frame is this: if you are like me and you love making coffee, always watching and controlling the amount of bloom your press is making, the protective frame is in the way... You cannot see the top of your glass container, so it is harder to see the result of your press pot.
Overall, if you don't mind this little inconvenient, the Young Press is a very good choice.
