Detailed Commentary
I wanted to try a French Press coffee device. I didnt want to pay "too" much and wanted something on the smaller size as I would likely be the only person using it. I looked on Amazon at their French Press units. The Bodums were all about 20 dollars or more and most were glass. Glass is good but has a tendency to break and can be heavy.
Then I saw the Bonour Hugo 3-cup for about 9 dollars. It is polycarbonate - similiar to plastic. Light and break resistant. They can crack but are more study. So I went for it. Its very small, makes 3 of the 4 oz cups. About enough for one person. Its a French Press, nothing complicated about it. The top has a mesh that can slide over the opening when you pour and help keep sediment from going into your cup. I havent had a problem wit sediment. Makes a good cup of French Press coffee, as good as any other French Press.
Its not sylish and would add lustre to your dining room table but it is functional. I am happy with it and would buy it again.
