Small (I would like to get the next size up next time) Hard to get the grind right (I think that I have to learn the proper technique and I am getting better at it). Hard to clean
Detailed Commentary
My friend told me about French Press coffee and I thought that I would try it out for myself, so I got myself a small one that was not junk so that I could teach myself how to make this type of coffee. I have gotten to the point that I could make it work for myself and I would like to get a bigger size in the near future. I like the product I can drink, however, getting there has been some practice in the making. I do not have a really good grinder and I would like to get a better one for this purpose in the future.
As far as the product is concerned, I really like the quality and fit and finish of the product. I was amazed how beautiful a french press could be, and I was really happy to start making coffee in it as soon as possible. I did not know that I would like french press so much. I think that getting a quality product as a starter made me want to use it more, and it has held up very well.
On the downside; I really think that cleaning this product is a act in futility sometimes, and I really have to get in there and scrub hard with a sponge to get the stains out after using. I think that this is due to the size that I got, and I think that with a bigger size that it would be a little easier. I also had a hard time getting the grind right, and I thought that the end product could have been a little better. I think that this is due to technique rather than the product itself. Finally, I want a bigger size, due to the fact that I get about one cup of coffee out of a pot this size. I would like to go to the next size up next time.
Buying Experience
The buying experience was okay, but could have been better. I would have rather bought from Bed Bath & Beyond rather than this place. I felt that the people at this place were less than helpful to me and I would have rather done business elsewhere
