Unlike Toddy version, these come with a handy separate water bowl.
Negative Product Points
Even though the water bowl protects the steeping coffee from dust etc., it should still come with a lid.
Detailed Commentary
Cold-drip coffee is produced by steeping a large quantity of ground coffee in cold water for 9-24 hours, then filtering the result, which is then stored and used at will as a dilutable concentrate. If you like cold-drip coffee (some do, some don‘t - I think it makes great iced coffee), the Filtron is a design improvement over the more common Toddy. MSRP is $35 at www.filtron.com, I found mine for $24 at a local store. This paid for both the brewer itself and
a decanter for concentrate storage; extras (such as dosing decanters) are available from the company.
