Detailed Commentary
My opinion of the table model Cona "B" is roughly the same as what I stated in my review for the "D", since it can be considered just a downsized version (or vice versa, of course). The "B" has the same sort of stand - a bit smaller, but as stylish & functional as its larger cousin. It also has the same quality of glass & the best, most convenient glass filter currently in existence.
Although I have my B for only a couple of months, it has probably seen more action than my D's have in over a year. Its small size is the biggest plus in my opinion & the main reason it gets a lot of use. Its 1 pint (about 500ml) capacity is more than enough to share with a friend - or maybe to fill your own mug twice with its excellent brew.
The "B" offers the same convenience & brews the same good coffee as the "D" - it's just half the capacity. OTOH, the Cona's main downside is even more apparent here - priced just slightly lower (about US$ 140-ish, IIRC) than the "D", the "B" is rather expensive. Still, for a one, or two person household, I think it is worth it in the end. A vac pot this good just gets used very often & each time with the same pleasure.
You'll have to pry mine from my cold dead hands ere I part with it.
