Easy to clean and use. Makes a great tasing brew. Had my TCA-3 for 10 years and wore out fabric part of the filter but even though parts are not avaialable in the US is was very simple to repair filter material myself by sewing on new material. Found using pastry cloth as a filter material made a much nicer tasting brew for me. Flawless everytime and easy to control the strength of the flavor I want.

Generally I would say none, but do keep in mind that this product is fragile being fine glass and can only brew 2 small or one large cup at a time. But for the flavor it is worth it.

I had my TCA-3 for 10 yrs. I would buy again and again, but that may not be necessary as I think this product will last forever if one is careful not to break the glass bulbs. I get a great brew everytime. I tend to use the gas range on low to heat it just out of convience most of the time instead of the wick burner it came with and it fits nicely around the stove top burners on my range. I cannot even compare the taste to an average drip machine as it is so superior in my opinion. A great Novelty item too. My guests just love it and are mesmerized watching in brew. I am so glad I just happened across this item in Japan and I would recommend to any coffee lover.

Great. Wandering around a small shop in Japan 10 years ago and thought what the heck is that contraption. I guess they were and still are very popular there. Being coffee related I could not resist the novelty of it.  I bought 2 different styles and gave one to my mother who also enjoys hers.
