Coffee has a little metal tint, still nowhere near as good as a pump machine, but what can you expect for 13 bucks?
Detailed Commentary
So im an americano freak. I got this for my birthday and have used it a total of 5 times. First two times i used some crappy coffee (Medaglia D'oro) and the last three i've used good stuff. To make an americano with this, as opposed to a regular espresso machine you do 1/2 water 1/2 moka pot coffee, instead of a double shot and water.
When i had my most recent americano, I noticed a bad tasting metal tint to the coffee, probably just because i haven't used it enough. But truth be told, it still makes a good cup. If you can't afford a pump machine, skip the steamer machine, and buy this, it works better and makes better tasting (less bitter) coffee.
