This device has gotten a bad rap, and it's partially the manufacturer's fault (not explaining how it works), and partially the user's fault (not understanding how it works).

I know this thing has gotten a lot of negative comments, and it took me a while to determine how best to use it.
If you examine the method of operation, it soon becomes obvious that it will never produce a volume of the finished product that rises higher than the five holes in the conical portion of the reservoir. Increasing the "microwave" time will not change this volume, and will simply overcook the coffee.
So I determined that I must find the microwave time that will just fill the reservoir to the bottom of the holes, and stop the process at that point. For my microwave, that magical time is 77 seconds.
